6.Testimonials
Phonethavong Singhalath Director, International Investment Cooperation Div., Investment Promotion Dept., Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), Lao PDR | The delegate programme has given me a good chance to meet and discuss directly with many private companies and government organizations in Japan. The programme was well prepared and completed with high achievements in sharing the experiences and new ideas on various aspects of investment in Lao PDR among the Japanese business community. I also learned specific features of Japanese businesses through interactions with the companies met individually. |

Adama Ndiaye Gueye, Business Line Manager, Investment Promotion and Major Projects (APIX), Senegal | The delegate programme was a good opportunity to target sectors with great potential for Japanese companies and help them to develop a business in Senegal. The delegate was successful in introducing Senegal as a promising investment destination through meetings held in Tokyo and Osaka. APIX will maintain contact with UNIDO IPO Tokyo and extend support and assistance to Japanese companies interested in establishing a business in Senegal. |
Lourenço Sambo, General Director CPI – Investment Promotion Centre, Mozambique |
I would sincerely like to thank UNIDO ITPO Tokyo for the sponsorship provided for the Delegate Programme for Mozambique, 14-25 February. The final report that was presented clearly demonstrates that we were able to raise awareness and interest among businessmen from Japan about investment climate and business opportunities in Mozambique. |
Mie Mie Aung, Assistant Director Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA), Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development of Myanmar |
The delegate programme targeting investment promotion can be considered as one of the most effective investment promotion activities, as specific issues can be individually raised by Japanese business people to the delegate. This approach was very fruitful, allowing the delegate to undertake cordial discussions. The programme provides great and effective opportunities for Japanese investors and Myanmar. |
