TOKYO, 16 May 2015 – UNIDO’s Director General LI Yong concluded his official mission to Japan from 13 – 15 May 2015 where he successfully held several bilateral meetings with the Government of Japan, the diplomatic corps, and the Japanese private sector, and delivered the keynote speech in the UNIDO Seminar “Sustainable Industrialization for Shared Prosperity”.

TOKYO, 14 May 2015 – During his official visit to Japan, Director General Li was the Keynote Speaker at the UNIDO Seminar “Sustainable Industrialization for Shared Prosperity” – Public Private Partnership in the era of post-2015 Development Agenda. The seminar, held at the United Nations University, attracted 250 participants. The seminar was followed by a Reception where Director General Li met with diplomats, UN officials, and representatives of the Japanese private and public sector.
