STePP (Sustainable Technology Promotion Platform)

UNIDO ITPO Tokyo has administered the ‘Environmental Technology Database (ETDB)’ since July 2010, and introduced information on Japanese technologies that contribute to sustainable industrialization, in order to promote the transfer of such technologies to developing and emerging countries through our website.
From 1 April 2019, UNIDO ITPO Tokyo will expand the coverage of the database to focus not only on Energy and Environmental technologies, but also on Agribusiness and Human Health technologies. Accordingly, the name ‘ETDB’ will be changed to ‘STePP (Sustainable Technology Promotion Platform)’.
*Note: The number of registered companies and technologies are 68 and 78 respectively.

*2: It excludes pharmaceuticals, highly invasive medical devices for the human bodies, and folk remedies, etc.
