TokyoKosho Co., Ltd. has developed the photocatalytic deodorization device “PCF® Hybrid”, a purification system which allows smell component to be oxidatively decomposed. The photocatalyst utilized for this technology consists of TiO2 particles stabilized on SiC (Silicon Carbide) support which has a specific pore structure. Its large specific surface area allows high performance with high durability. With this technology, more than 90% of bad odor from kitchen and animal exhausts can be removed on average. It is also easy to maintain and can be used repeatedly with only a little consumable replacement.

Since starting sales in 2001, 400 sets at 206 sites are installed all over Japan including shopping malls, schools, laboratories, food processing plants and more.
