UNIDO ITPO Tokyo, in cooperation with Japan Management Association (JMA), organized a business mission to India on water sector between 8th and 11th December 2015 and visited Bengaluru and New Delhi.
Background
As part of Investment and Technology Promotion Progamme, UNIDO ITPO Tokyo observed the needs for technological improvement on water sector in India and potential partnership opportunities between Japanese companies and local counterpart in India. In order to introduce the selected technologies from Japan widely towards local investors, policy makers and engineers in India, UNIDO ITPO Tokyo and JMA planned a UNIDO Business Mission to India on Water Sector.
Activities and Programme
UNIDO ITPO Tokyo coordinated programmes for fact finding of the water-related issues and business environment in India (Bengaluru and New Delhi, as well as to assist companies to seek business partnerships, through dialogue and meetings, principally with the Indian private sector, but also with the public sector, as applicable. The following is the list of the Japanese companies with water technologies, who had participated in the mission.
