UNIDO ITPO Tokyo invited environmental experts from Bangladesh and Vietnam to Japan, between 13 to 17 November 2023.
Mr. Md Shahadat Hossain from the Bangladesh, and Mr. Nguyen Truong Phi from Vietnam participated in the “16th Kawasaki International Eco-Tech Fair”, held at Culttz Kawasaki, from 15 to 16 November 2023. UNIDO ITPO Tokyo invited Japanese companies and individuals to have an individual meeting with delegates from Bangladesh and Vietnam to discuss potential business opportunities in both countries.
Both experts also had the opportunity to introduce the current status and needs related to waste and water treatment in their home country, as part of the “Southeast Asia Intercity Cooperation Forum” on 16 November 2023 (Thu) within the 16th Kawasaki International Eco-Tech Fair.
On the day following the fair, the two experts also toured several facilities in Kawasaki, including sewage and waste treatment plants, to gather information and exchange opinions that will contribute to solving issues in both countries in the future.
Additionally, the two experts also had the opportunity to meet individually with STePP-registered companies considering business development in both countries. This opportunity was offered exclusively to STePP-registered companies, and four companies had the chance to introduce their technologies directly through a total of six business sessions with the experts.
