UNIDO ITPO Tokyo hosted Mr. Driss Sekkate, Head of the Marketing Department, Moroccan Investment Development Agency (AMDI), as an investment and technology promotion officer from 8 to 19 November 2010.

During his stay, Mr. Sekkate introduced various projects from Morocco to Japanese investors, including renewable energy (solar and wind power), automotive and electronics, through individual meetings with the Japanese private sector and other relevant organizations, and through a seminar titled “Morocco Investment Seminar” in Tokyo on 18 November, which also was attended by officials of the automotive industry in Morocco and the Tanger Free Zone.
