UNIDO ITPO Tokyo hosted Ms. Unati Speirs, Sector Manager in Business Development, East London Industrial Development Zone (EL IDZ) of the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa as an investment promotion officer from 24 January to 8 February 2011.

She is in charge of all aspects of both foreign and domestic investment activities at the East London IDZ. While in Japan, Ms. Speirs introduced the latest investment climate of the Eastern Cape Province and promote sectors such as food processing, automotive, aquaculture, renewable energy, and ICT through individual meetings with the Japanese private sector.
