UNIDO ITPO Tokyo hosted Ms. Mie Mie Aung, Assistant Director, Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA), Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development of Myanmar from 4th to 19th of December 2012.

Ms. Mie Mie Aung joined the Ministry in 1996 and has been engaged in various work related to foreign direct investment and planned Special Economic Zones in Myanmar. During the 2 weeks stay in Japan, Ms. Mie Mie Aung introduced Myanmar investment climate and business opportunities at the seminars held in Osaka and Nagoya with a focus on the new Foreign Investment Law. She also met individually and provided consultations to over 50 Japanese companies who showed interests in developing business in Myanmar.
