UNIDO Tokyo hosted Ms. Marina Mapitso Bizabani, Foreign Investment Promotion Manager, Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) from 19 to 27 May 2014.

Ms. Bizabani has been placed in charge of supporting of investment planning and marketing, promoting measures in addition to the General investment promotion activities including the information provided to the investment side, improve the investment environment, etc.

During her staying in Japan, she introduced the investment climate of the country through individual meetings with the private sector and other relevant organizations, especially concerning the following sectors: agriculture, dairy farming, agro-products processing, horticulture, textile, IT and other natural energy industry, etc.

She also presented the latest economic conditions and business investment environment of the country at “Lesotho Business Seminar” in Tokyo (23rd May), which was co-organized by the Embassy of Lesotho Kingdom in Japan.
