On occasion of the visit of business delegation from Sri Lanka, UNIDO ITPO Tokyo organized a matching event between Sri Lanka and Japanese companies interested to develop partnerships on 4 April 2023 in Tokyo.

The visiting Sri Lanka companies are into sectors including Logistics/Freight Forwarding, Poly Bags, Marine Products, Coconut-based Products, Spices, Rubber Products, Dried Fruits and Vegan Food. The Embassy of Sri Lanka also jointed the event and met with Japanese companies. In total, 65 business meetings were organized between Sri Lanka and Japanese participants.
