UNIDO ITPO Tokyo supported and participated in the Oman Investment Forum and Business Meetings organized by the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME), the Public Authority for Investment Promotion & Export Development (Ithraa), and the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Japan, from 23-24 October 2014 in Tokyo.

　　

The Forum held on 23 October attracted 220 participants from the Japanese private and public sector and provided updates on Japan-Oman bilateral business opportunities, including projects in infrastructure, manufacturing, fisheries and services. 20 leading business and public officials from Oman were present at the Forum.

A business meeting session on 24 October registered 40 bilateral business meetings with the participation of Japanese and Omani companies. The development and diversification of business ties and projects between Japan and Oman are expected in the future.
