Wood processing companies from Savannakhet, Lao PDR discussed possible business partnership with Japanese private sector on 10 April 2015 in Tokyo. 

The officials from Savan-SENO Special Economic Zone also met with Japanese companies who are interested in business opportunities in Lao PDR.  Interests were shown from the Japanese businesses to develop business in sectors including wood processing, energy, waste management, logistics and agro processing.
