The Embassy of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in Japan and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) hosted Algeria Investment Climate Seminar in Tokyo on September 12th, attracting more than 150 participants from Japanese companies.
The seminar was held to celebrate the issue of “Information Collection and Investigation Report of Investment Climate Development Status in Algeria”, published by JICA in February 2018. In the seminar, the latest status of investment and business environment in Algeria was presented by Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry and Mines, Director of Investment Promotion Bureau of National Agency of Investment Development (ANDI), and a representative from an Algerian company. In the panel discussion, JGC Corporation which has been operating in Algeria and the JICA study team, as well as Lies Kerrar, UNIDO ITPO Tokyo’s advisor exchanged their views on investment opportunities and public safety in the country.
