UNIDO ITPO Tokyo and Tama Art University (TAU) will organize the Banana Textile Forum titled “To Design a Sustainable Society” at the UNU’s U Thant International Conference Hall on Friday 20 January, from 14:00 to 17:00.

At the same time, an exhibition titled “The Power of Design to Create the future of the Earth” will be held at the UNU’s Global Environment Outreach Centre (GEOC) from 18 to 28 January, featuring various kinds of banana textile products by TAU students, and the results of TAU’s studies and workshops in Africa and South East Asian countries.
