Sustainable Technology Promotion Platform (STePP) Demonstration Project: Japanese technologies to fight COVID-19 in Africa and Asia
In November 2020, UNIDO launched the Sustainable Technology Promotion Platform (STePP) Demonstration Project, with US$ 4 million funds from Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to transfer Japanese technologies and products to countries in Africa and Asia to limit the impact of the COVID-19. UNIDO’s ITPO Tokyo selected about 10 Japanese companies providing technology and technical training, and has been supporting their activities. This page highlights project results in each country.
