Creative industries expert to visit Japan
UNIDO ITPO Tokyo will invite Mr. Caesar ATIENZA, Senior Economic Adviser to the Mayor of Cebu City on the Creative Industries and Economic Matters from 12 to 21 November 2024 to Tokyo, in order to promote Cebu City as a destination for business on Creative industries.
In February this year an online Cebu Business Seminar was held to promote this theme, attracting 91 participants. Mr. Atienza will follow-up with Japanese companies in person during this visit. We would like, therefore, to use this occasion to invite Japanese companies and individuals from the creative industries sector in Japan to have an individual meetings with Mr. Atienza to discuss business opportunities.

Mr. Atienza’s Profile
Mr. Atienza is currently the Senior Economic Adviser to the Vice Mayor of Cebu City on the Creative Industries. He has worked as a consultant to governments and international development organisations since 2005. He has extensive experience on local economic development and investment promotion. In his current position, he is actively supporting Cebu City on establishing a creative industries district which would promote industries such as film, animation, video game development and original content creation.
