UNIDO ITPO Tokyo is inviting delegates from the Western Black Sea Region of Turkey to Japan from 15 June to 1 July 2015 to promote the area to Japanese companies who are seeking for business opportunities in Turkey.
Mr. Onur Caglar and Mr. Mehmet Cetinkaya of the Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA) will be representing their region in Japan and ready to meet with Japanese companies to discuss business partnerships. The Western Black Sea Region is an up and coming business friendly region in Turkey covering an area of 9,494 km2, with good infrastructure, close proximity to major cities in Turkey, including Ankara and Istanbul, as well as export markets of Europe and the CIS, including Russia. The Region boasts major industries such as mining, steel, cement, glass and ceramics, machinery, chemicals, agriculture and forestry, etc.
The Region, which is a higher incentive zone, is ready to invite businesses and investors from Japan in the above sectors, and also in environment related businesses including waste management and energy efficiency.
A promotional business seminar will be held in Tokyo on 23 June 2015, in cooperation with the Embassy of Turkey, Commercial Office, and the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East. For further details please see the Japanese page of this website.
