UNIDO ITPO Tokyo will support G20–T20 Roundtable Discussion on “Global Value Chains for Inclusive Development: FDI, investment facilitation and linkage creation” which is organized by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) on 28 May in Tokyo.

The roundtable meeting will highlight best practices in investment facilitation and promotion, and examine the rational integration of domestic SME’s into global value chains. On top of this, “FDI Attraction and Facilitation” and “Linking Domestic Firms to Foreign Investors”, which may contribute to evidence-based policy making at G20 will be argued by guest discussants in panel sessions.
