UNIDO ITPO Tokyo is organizing an online delegate programme with the following two officials from Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) for 7-30 September 2020, for promotion of the latest investment climate and business opportunities in Nigeria, which encourages Japanese business communities to further invest in Nigeria.

Mr. Baba and Mr. Salami have been working for NIPC over 20 years to increase FDI to Nigeria, by providing the One Stop Investment Center service including coordination among relevant organizations/agencies, support of company registration, land acquisition and facilities investment, improvement of investment policies, and relevant incentives for foreign investors etc.
Mr. Baba, as Japan Desk of NIPC, has visited Japan many times since the last delegate programme with UNIDO in 2017, to facilitate business partnership between Japan and Nigeria. NIPC is one of the key institutions of “Japan-Nigeria Business Facilitation Council“.
During the programme, they will have individual online meetings with Japanese companies to provide hand-holding support to each company’s needs. They will also speak at an online seminar “Nigeria Business Seminar“.
