Spiral Type Pico-Hydro Unit “PicoPica”, developed by Sumino Co., LTD., can be applied for power generation in a river with small water flow and low head. This technology is an optimum solution of electric power supply to unelectrified areas in developing countries.
The company started to promote this practical technology in Myanmar and makes a contribution in finding solutions for global energy issues.

This technology has been registered to UNIDO ITPO Tokyo’s Sustainable Technology Promotion Platform (STePP) since 2018.
