UNIDO ITPO Tokyo cooperated with Japan Environmental Management Association for Industry (JEMAI) and Nikkei Inc., and jointly organized a half day visit for Embassy officials from developing and emerging countries to the Eco-Products 2014 exhibition, which took place in Tokyo Bigsight.

21 diplomats (from 18 countries) visited booths of Japanese companies. During the visit, diplomats could find out about the latest environmentally friendly technologies and products offered by Japanese companies.

The programme helped diplomats stationed in Japan to benefit from the knowledge of Japanese technologies which can be applicable to developing and emerging nations to help plan smart urban development and environment management in their countries.
