UNIDO ITPO Tokyo cooperated with Kawasaki City, and jointly organized a half day visit for Embassy officials from developing and emerging countries to the Kawasaki International Eco-Tech Fair 2015 exhibition, which took place in Todoroki Arena.
24 diplomats (from 20 countries) visited booths of Japanese companies. During the visit, diplomats could find out about the latest environmentally friendly technologies and products offered by Japanese companies. Mr. Norihito Fukuda, Mayor of Kawasaki City also made a welcome speech to the diplomats.
The programme helped diplomats stationed in Japan to benefit from the knowledge of Japanese technologies which can be applicable to developing and emerging nations to help plan smart urban development and environment management in their countries.
