UNIDO Tokyo hosted Mr. Marko Jurcic, Director, Strategic Planning Division of the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency of Croatia (APIU) from 6 to 24 April 2009.

Mr. Jurcic joined APIU in October 2005 after working in publishing and banking. Having served as Director of ICT, he took up his current post and is in charge of FDI inflows from the Asian market, especially from Japan. He is engaged in overall coordination for potential investors as well as investors already doing business in Croatia, offering such services as seminar organization, information services, arrangement of meetings and visits, etc. While in Japan, Mr. Jurcic introduced the investment climate and business opportunities of the country through individual meetings with the private sector and other relevant organizations.
