UNIDO Tokyo hosted Ms. Oladunni OKE, Senior Town Planning Officer of Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) of Nigeria, as an investment promotion expert from 29 November to 10 December 2010, together with Ms. Grace YAHAYA and Ms. Olusola OWORO, Director and Special Advisor of Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) respectively.

While in Japan, Ms. Oke, Ms. Yahaya and Ms. Oworo introduced the latest investment climate and promote the waste management sector such as automobile, home appliance, PCB, PET bottle, waste paper, sludge etc. and recycling, through individual meetings with the private sector and other relevant organizations.
