UNIDO ITPO Tokyo hosted Mr. Jalalul Hai, Director, Foreign Investment, Board of Investment (BOI) of Bangladesh as an investment promotion officer from 2 to 16 March 2011.

He has been working for BOI over 20 years, and visited Japan many times since 1994. He is in charge of all aspects of investment activities of foreign, including Japanese, investors. While in Japan, Mr. Hai introduced the country’s latest investment climate focusing on business opportunities in sectors including textile/apparel, electronics, and IT software through individual meetings with the Japanese private sector at Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Gifu and Okayama.
