UNIDO Tokyo hosted Ms. Reitumetse APHIRI, Manager, International Markets, Botswana Export Development and Investment Authority (BEDIA), from 13 June to 24 June 2011.

Ms. Aphiri has been placed in charge of investment promotional activities at BEDIA since 2003, and she already participated in her first delegate programme in 2009. While in Japan, Ms. Aphiri introduced the investment climate of the country focusing on business opportunities in sectors including energy, mining through individual meetings with the private sector and other relevant organizations.
