Inspire Africa Association (IAA) hosted their third business seminar at the Embassy of Algeria in Tokyo on September 5th, inviting their member companies as well as ambassadors and diplomats from African Diplomatic Corps (ADC).
Following remarks by Mr. Koji Yamaguchi, Representative Director of IAA and H.E. Mr. Mohamed El Amine Bencherif, Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Japan, the latest investment climate in Algeria was explained by Ms. Samya Slimani, First Secretary of the Embassy of Algeria. From Japanese side, a brief introduction on products and services of each member company was given and UNIDO ITPO Tokyo then was introduced as an organization that facilitates investment and technology transfer from Japan to Africa. Mr. Ferda Gelgen, Deputy Head of UNIDO ITPO Tokyo, presented UNIDO’s business support activities provided to Japanese companies.
