On the occasion of the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) in Yokohama, the Economic Development Board (EDB) of Mauritius organized an official side-event seminar and the reception for launch of the EDB Japan Office.
UNIDO ITPO Tokyo invited an investment promotion officer from EDB this June to facilitate individual meetings with Japanese companies and organizations that are interested in expanding their business in Mauritius as well as organizing the Seminar on Investment and Business Opportunities in Mauritius. UNIDO ITPO Tokyo also supported EDB with establishment of their new representative office in Tokyo.
The official delegation to TICAD7 was led by Honourable Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius and high-level officials from EDB Mauritius joined the mission for the 2 big events as well as other bilateral meetings.
